Ann Weyers de Ibarra
Hello, I’m Ann and I’ve been working at Youth Go since 2022. For over a decade, I have worked with school aged youth and know that this work is extremely rewarding but can also present many challenges. I am very happy to be a part of the Youth Go team and learn from our amazing staff and youth. I wear two hats at Youth Go: Program Assistant and PACT assistant. Through my role as a Program Assistant, I am thrilled to be a part of the incredible programs and resources we provide at Youth Go for the young people in our community. I have enjoyed getting to know the youth who come to the center and learn about their interests as well as sharing my knowledge and experiences with both the staff and our attendees. Sharing my interests in house plants and gardening at Youth Go has also been by far the most fun for me!
Each day that I am present at the center, I continually strive to be a positive role model and a safe adult that our youth can come to if they just want someone to hang out with at the center or if they need to talk about a problem. Overall, I think Youth Go is just the best place ever filled with great people; it is a fun, safe, and welcoming place where everyone can just be themselves which is why I know this is the right place for me to be.
