VOLUNTEERING AT THE CENTER

Interested in working directly with youth at our center? We can utilize volunteers or groups for any of the following activities:

  • Share about a hobby or interest through a presentation to our youth.
  • Help to create and start a short term “club” for the youth related to a strength or an interest i.e. craft, cooking, sport, etc).
  • We can accommodate for groups to come in a “host” an evening at the center with prepared activities to be facilitated by the volunteers.
  • Prepare a meal at home or at Youth Go to serve 20-25 people during our High School Programming (meals are served Monday-Thursday at 7pm).

VOLUNTEERS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS

Special Event Volunteers are needed to assist with various projects at events such as our Family Nights, Midwest Sunsplash Festival, and Open House. Needs are based on the event and can range from serving food to helping with set-up or clean-up.

HAUNTED HOUSE VOLUNTEERS

*We are currently not accepting new Haunted House Volunteers for 2022.  If you are a past Haunted House volunteer and would like to help us out at The Hallows this year, please call Youth Go*

Creative Volunteers are needed to help with every aspect of Youth Go’s Haunted House events. Volunteers can assist with design, acting skills training, kitchen help, security, and more! We are especially in need of people with art and theater design skills for props and scenery projects.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Youth Go is often in need of community members interested in joining our board of directors. Members provide leadership, create policies, develop strategic plans, and fundraise for the agency. An expertise in the fields of human resources, fundraising, or finance is especially helpful.
