2024-2025’s Creative Arts Program was held on Tuesdays throughout the school year during both Middle School and High School hours.
Youth learned various processes of creating art using raw wool. Dyeing it, machine felting, wet felting, and needle felting. The art produced through this program was shown in three different locations this program year. The Neenah Public Library & Neenah City Hall graciously hosted Youth Go’s Traveling Gallery. There was also a spring art installation in front of Youth Go.
In the upcoming program year, 2025-2026, our CREATE program will begin. This program will focus on six key areas: Community, Resilience, Expression, Artistry, Therapeutic, and Education, all through exploration with CLAY! There will be other projects that do not use clay, such as printmaking, fiber arts, and other various processes. Our goal is to also show youth artwork three times throughout the program year in Youth Go’s Traveling Gallery. Accompanying the Traveling Gallery there will be opportunities for community members to participate and collaborate on an art project on location.
Participation is simple, completely free, and doesn’t require a permission slip.
