Badges for Baseball

Posted on July 29, 2015

We are about 2/3 of the way done with our Badges for Baseball Season. Things are going great! The weather is cooperating, our assistant coaches are working hard, and the kids are having fun. So far we’ve scrimmaged the B4B teams from Appleton and Kaukauna through the Boys and Girls Club Program, gone to a Green Bay Bullfrogs game, and atteneded a Milwaukee Brewers Game.

Badges for Baseball is funded through the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and we are thankful for their continued support! It is also important to point out that this program really wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our local community. So far this year we’ve had the chance to welcome the Green Bay Bullfrogs to a Neenah team practice,

and had the chance to warm-up and practice with a few of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at one of our Friday Neenah-Menasha scrimmages.

But, we also have special guests at almost every practice and scrimmage – our local law enforcement. These amazing officers take the time out of their busy days to be a part of our Badges for Baseball Program and join in on the fun and build positive relationships with the kids! We are grateful to the City of Menasha, Town of Menasha and City of Neenah Police Departments for allowing their officers to participate in this program with us! Here are a few photos of the awesome officers who’ve been out to practice so far this season!
