*As of Wednesday, March 2, 2022, masks are optional in the center but will continue to be required in the vans. If cases increase within our building or the community we will follow the lead of local school disctricts and health department and make any necessary adjustments.

*Safety protocols (temperature check, and questionnaire) will continue during the school year, until further notice.

*Transportation will be provided, unless the center is closed, after school Monday through Wednesday & Fridays from Maplewood, Horace Mann, and Shattuck (masks will be required).  If a youth participates in Homework Club at Shattuck on Thursdays and would like transportation back to Youth Go after Homework Club, we can provide that as well (masks will be required).

*Transportation home will be provided at 9pm, Monday-Thursday unless the center is closed, for those attending high school time (masks will be required).

*To attend, parents will need to sign the waiver below.  Waivers can be printed from the website, picked up at Youth Go, or we can mail you one (email us at [email protected] with your full name and mailing address).

*The waiver explains in detail all of the safety precautions we will be taking, as well as what we will be asking of our youth and their parent/guardians.  Some of the items include youth will have their temperature taken upon arrival and will be required to wear provided cloth masks. We also ask that parents not allow their child to attend if they or anyone in the household is experiencing cold/flu symptoms – and wait until they are symptom free for 72 hours.

*It is very important that that parents not allow their child to attend if they or anyone in the household is experiencing cold/flu symptoms – and wait until everyone in the household is symptom free for 72 hours.

We are about 2/3 of the way done with our Badges for Baseball Season. Things are going great! The weather is cooperating, our assistant coaches are working hard, and the kids are having fun. So far we’ve scrimmaged the B4B teams from Appleton and Kaukauna through the Boys and Girls Club Program, gone to a Green Bay Bullfrogs game, and atteneded a Milwaukee Brewers Game.

Badges for Baseball is funded through the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and we are thankful for their continued support! It is also important to point out that this program really wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our local community. So far this year we’ve had the chance to welcome the Green Bay Bullfrogs to a Neenah team practice,

and had the chance to warm-up and practice with a few of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at one of our Friday Neenah-Menasha scrimmages.

But, we also have special guests at almost every practice and scrimmage – our local law enforcement. These amazing officers take the time out of their busy days to be a part of our Badges for Baseball Program and join in on the fun and build positive relationships with the kids! We are grateful to the City of Menasha, Town of Menasha and City of Neenah Police Departments for allowing their officers to participate in this program with us! Here are a few photos of the awesome officers who’ve been out to practice so far this season!

A big “thank you” to Officers Bauman, Blashka, Feucht, Groeschel, Moe, Pedersen, and Sievert.

Youth Go was fortunate enough to have an incredible opportunity this past school year. We were able to partner with the Performing Arts Center through their Frank C. Shattuck P.A.T.H.S. Program to give some of our youth the chance to learn how to write songs. With the help of local singer songwriters, Nicole Rae and Rob Anthony, the youth learned about songwriting, toured a local recording studio, and some even had the chance to hear their songs performed.
Here is the awesome video that was created to explain the Raise Your Voice Program!
Check it out!

Many thanks to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Nicole Rae, Rob Anthony, Marc Golde of Rock Garden Studios, Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Art Works, and The Broadway League.
